Welcome to My Portfolio
I completed my Ph.D. at North Carolina State University in 2023. My research interests are policy process and public and nonprofit governance and leadership. My primary area of study is policy communication. Specifically, I'm interested in how policy communication flows to and among different groups of people, how it influences behavior, and the implications this has on democratic governance and institutions.

I am a transformative mediator and restorative process facilitator. Some of my practitioner work has focused on bullying prevention in schools and workplaces. I also have an active research agenda in this area. I am on the board of directors for the Elna Spaulding Conflict Resolution Center in Durham, North Carolina.
